Note: The "Ingalls' Tree" in the 1st stanza of Haiku verse below refers to a couple episodes in the TV Series "Little House on the Prairie" (1974-1983) in which love messages were carved into a tree in Maple Grove, MN the "location" of the Ingalls farm (although the show was actually filmed for the most part at Big Sky Ranch in Simi Valley, CA , according to IMDB - Internet Movie Data Base) The Series was based on the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder (1867-1957). Loving wife Rose found the Series on Amazon Prime and we nightly streamed (i.e. "stream of all time" ) until we had watched all the wonderful episodes of the 9 Seasons! The Series starred: Michael Landon as father Charles Ingalls, Karen Grassle as wife Caroline Ingalls, Melissa Sue Anderson as oldest daughter Mary Ingalls, Melissa Gilbert as middle daughter Laura Ingalls and Sidney Greenbush as the youngest daughter Carrie Ingalls.

Love You!!
Love You carved
into
a slice of the Ingalls' Tree!
Our "stream" of all time
masking Impeachment
news and general unrest
in a dark world with
Coronavirus
in China! The specter of
cold and snow has waned
giving a glimpse of
early Spring to aging folk
wanting a long walk!
Fine cuisine at Lake
Elmo Inn satisfies our
Valentine palate!
A heated mattress
cover fulfills our need for
warmth. We both listen
to outside silence
wishing for the patter of
rain hitting our pane.
We anticipate
aromatic color mixed
with song bird's twitter!
Till then however,
we delight in each other's
"Love You" Valentine!
