Below is a photo of Humble Blogger's dad, probably taken in a photo booth somewhere in the European theater just after World War II ended in 1945 (See the blog entry "Father's Day 2011" for more information about dad in the army) Fortunately, dad did come home, but on Memorial Day (previously "Declaration Day") we especially remember all men and women who have died while serving in the Armed Forces.
